Engineering Focused Lighting Products From Brief to Production

Tronxer helps overseas brands turn focused lighting opportunities into products that can be tested, manufactured and supported. We combine requirement definition, electronic engineering and supplier coordination across cordless lighting, picture and display lighting, projection products and interactive bedside devices.

The First Engineering Decision

Choose the right development path before adding features

Some projects can build on a proven product or circuit platform. Others need a new optical, structural or electronic solution. We define that boundary early so the development plan, cost and validation work match the actual change.

01

Existing Product Adaptation

Branding, finish, packaging and approved configuration changes with limited engineering impact.

Fastest path when the existing performance already fits.
02

Platform-based Development

Reuse selected electronics or mechanisms while changing optics, battery, controls, structure or user experience.

Requires focused re-engineering and validation.
03

Custom ODM Development

Define a new product architecture when the target experience cannot be achieved reliably with an existing platform.

Includes a new technical plan, samples and production readiness work.

Engineering System

Ten connected workstreams, planned around the product

The scope is selected by project. A cordless picture light, a GU10 spotlight and an interactive projection lamp do not need the same engineering work or the same evidence.

01

Requirement Definition & Feasibility

We translate the target user, application, channel price, order volume, launch timing and compliance needs into a product brief. Early feasibility work identifies conflicts between features, size, cost, runtime and manufacturing before development spending increases.

  • Use cases and priority functions
  • Target cost and configuration assumptions
  • Technical risk and development-path review

02

Electronics & PCB Engineering

Our engineering work covers schematics, PCB architecture, LED driving, charging circuits, protection, interfaces and module selection. Existing circuit platforms may be adapted when appropriate; a new board is developed when the required functions or form factor cannot be supported reliably.

  • Schematic and PCB design
  • Component and module selection
  • BOM, interfaces and design reviews

03

Battery, Charging & Serviceability

For cordless lamps, we balance output, runtime, charge time, cell availability, enclosure space and transport requirements. Replaceable batteries, charge-in-place designs, charging bases and spare-part planning are evaluated as product decisions rather than generic claims.

  • Cell and protection approach
  • USB-C, base and multi-unit charging
  • Replacement method and service planning
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-04-battery-charging.webp
04

Controls, Sensors & Interaction

Buttons, touch controls, remotes, timers, memory, motion sensing and ambient-light logic are selected around the actual user task. For bedside and care-oriented products, minimum brightness, manual override and simple recovery after power loss require deliberate validation.

  • Control logic and user flows
  • Sensor placement and trigger behavior
  • Firmware states, memory and fail-safe behavior

05

LED, Color Quality & Optics

Light output is engineered around the application. Picture lights and display spotlights require measured coverage, illuminance, beam control, uniformity, CRI and R9. Bedside products may prioritize low-level comfort, diffusion and smooth dimming.

  • LED binning and color targets
  • Lenses, diffusers and beam shaping
  • Lux, coverage, CRI, R9 and flicker review
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-06-led-optics-test.webp
06

Projection Optics & Structure

Projection projects require coordination between the light source, lens path, image carrier, focus, heat, noise and housing structure. Custom content must be reviewed together with optical limits, tooling, content ownership and the safety requirements of the target market.

  • Optical path and focus mechanism
  • Projection coverage and effect validation
  • Content format, tooling and optical safety
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-07-projection-structure.webp
07

Sound & Interactive Functions

Wake-up and ambient products can combine light with alarms, natural sounds, white noise or interactive effects. We define the control logic, speaker and acoustic requirements, content storage and licensing boundary before integrating sound into the product platform.

  • Sound list and playback behavior
  • Speaker, enclosure and volume evaluation
  • Timer, memory and content-rights requirements
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-08-sound-interaction.webp
08

Power Consumption & Runtime

Runtime is not a single marketing number. We measure relevant brightness, color and sound modes, record the battery and test conditions, and identify standby loads that can shorten real-world operating time.

  • Mode-based current measurement
  • Standby and parasitic-load review
  • Runtime profiles with stated test conditions
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-09-power-consumption.webp
09

Prototype Build & Iteration

Engineering samples combine electronics, optical parts, structure and control logic so that the real user experience can be reviewed. Findings are converted into a controlled revision list rather than informal changes that are difficult to reproduce.

  • Functional and appearance samples
  • Revision tracking and risk closure
  • Sample approval reference for production
Suggested assettronxer-engineering-10-prototype-build.webp
10

Validation & Production Readiness

Before production, the project plan defines the tests that matter for the product: output, color quality, charging, runtime, controls, sensors, projection, sound, thermal behavior, assembly and packaging. External laboratories are used when accredited compliance testing is required.

  • Engineering verification and pilot checks
  • Acceptance criteria and test records
  • Compliance coordination and production handoff

Reusable Platforms & Custom Boundaries

Reuse speeds development only when the performance still fits

Platform reuse can reduce time and risk. Any change that affects light output, runtime, heat, safety, installation or user interaction still needs the corresponding engineering review.

Table & Bedside Lights

Reusable foundation
LED driver blocks, charging circuits, touch or button controls, timer and memory logic.
Typical customization
Form factor, shade and diffusion, low-level dimming, battery configuration and bedside interaction.
Validation boundary
Runtime, thermal behavior and stability must be revalidated when output, battery or enclosure changes.

Wall & Picture Lights

Reusable foundation
Remote-control platforms, detachable power modules, magnetic mounting concepts and adjustable CCT.
Typical customization
Fixture length, artwork coverage, optics, mounting geometry, finish and charging method.
Validation boundary
A reused circuit does not guarantee the required lux, uniformity, CRI or runtime for a new size.

Display Spotlights

Reusable foundation
Replaceable lamp formats, driver options and common mechanical aiming components.
Typical customization
Head count, beam angle, aiming range, installation, CCT/CRI target and thermal design.
Validation boundary
Included lamp, voltage, flicker, beam and compliance scope must match the target sales market.

Projection & Interactive Lights

Reusable foundation
Control boards, remotes, timer logic, motors, sound modules and established housing mechanisms.
Typical customization
Projection content, lens path, focus, effect logic, sound experience, housing and branded packaging.
Validation boundary
Optical safety, content rights, thermal performance and noise require project-specific review.
